There is a gel available. It can be spread over the area of interest attracting your crows. As they land on the gel, it gives a burning sensation to their claws. They will soon tire of the landing pad. |

This is on a recess of our roof (25 feet up). The mother had two babies up there. What kind of gel and I'm not sure who would be brave enough to get up there to spread the gel. |

Close your windows if they are ?nesting on our room?. Guess you meant ?roof?. Plant some trees and wait 50 years. Crows usually prefer tall trees to roofs. The 500 rooks above the end of my garden never bother us. Seriously though, your problem may be caused by ecological imbalance whereby natural avian predators are depleted so nesting takes place in open areas, but there is a surfeit of readily available food for opportunist feeders. I guess this doesn't help, but there is an action plan there. Best |

(It's ROOF - not room) We have found the food source to be an open garbage dumpster from a nearby apartment complex. This has been reported to the city. In the meantime, the crows have planted a dead squirrel in a tree (in front of our home--hello) I guess for future feeding. HELP! |

An owl decoy will do the trick. There are many diferent kinds of owl decoys - some are animated and make noise, some do not. They come in various price ranges too and you just place them where the pests congregate and that's it. MOJO DECOYS http://mojodecoys.net/bird_deterrents.htm PONDSHOP http://www.pondshop.com/catalog/seasons.htm Let me know if this works for you as an answer. Regards; tutuzdad-ga |

"An owl effigy will only work for a few days and chances are you will actually hear more noise as the crows try to drive the owl away. They will soon learn that the owl is fake after a few days. To reduce this risk, be sure to move the owl around or get one that moves and hoots. " http://www.wildlifedamagecontrol.com/controllingcrows.htm |
