I'm looking for a movie title for a sci-fi movie, most likely made in
the early to mid-nineties.  The premise revolves around a few people
who discover a way to travel to another dimention.  In this dimention,
they find that everything is better than their world.  For instance,
there are small cars that are public use.  People walk out of them and
other people walk in and drive off.

The only problem comes when once in a while, the peaceful people get
together in a stadium, grab a blunt weapon and await as a giant TV
monitor announces a name.  The people proceed to march to that
person's house and brutally murder them.  One of the travellers finds
himself in trouble because everyone is after his "double" in this
world when his name is called.

I'm almost CERTAIN this isn't a TV show (like Sliders or Quantum
Leap), it was a movie, possibly a made for tv movie.  I also think I
was watching it on ABC.
