Hi there, I've got an ipod from 2003. Windows not Mac. I'm interested
in how the iPod decides on the genre of the track you add to it.

Does it use the ID3 tags when identifying a genre? (I assume so)
If so does it use the ID3 schema or does it use its own proprietary
schema? If it does map ID3 GENRE tags to it's own Genres how does this
work? Details of this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

TIM
