There's a hotel out west that was built by a Buffalo, named for a lady and claims to be fit for king and cowboy alike. What's the name of this Rocky roost, and where is it located? |

That would be the Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming. "The historic Irma Hotel was built by Col. William F. 'Buffalo Bill' Cody in 1902 and named for his daughter, Irma... Colonel Cody, Princes and Potentates, Indian chiefs and Cowboys in the town for a spree all 'came as they were' to the Irma... The Irma is listed with the Historic Hotels of the Rockies." History of the Irma http://www.comp-unltd.com/~rodeo/irma2.html My Google search strategy went on the assumption that this might have something to do with "Buffalo Bill" Cody, since actual buffaloes don't usually build hotels. Google Web Search: "buffalo bill" hotel ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22buffalo+bill%22+hotel Best regards, pinkfreud |
