Hi, Randy!

I've done some sleuthing, and I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that I've found some copies of your website, randymurray.com.

The bad news is that the site is no longer active, although you will
own the domain name randymurray.com until September 21, 2013.

The thing about websites is that, even if your domain name is all paid
up for years and years (as yours is), the site must be "hosted" by
somebody, and that's a separate payment. Hosting means that someone is
allocating space on their computer equipment for the files that
contain your website's vital information. The cost of hosting varies
widely, depending on the kinds of features offered, but regardless of
what sort of plan you have, if the bill isn't paid, the service will
pull the plug. I speculate that what probably happened here was that
the person who put your website together failed to "pay the rent," so
to speak, and he didn't bother to tell you who was doing the hosting
so that you could pick up the tab and keep payments up-to-date.

But the good news is that, although your old website is no longer
"alive," it still exists in ghostly form. There is a fascinating
service called The Wayback Machine which keeps copies of webpages for
years, like a library saving old newspapers. Thanks to The Wayback
Machine, I was able to find some of your webpages, and I've posted
links to them below. These links may be a bit iffy; sometimes The
Wayback Machine is rather slow, and occasionally it doesn't work at
all for a brief period. If the links don't work, just try again later.

Here is your website as it looked on September 18, 2000 (this is the
earliest version of the site that was archived):

The Murray Lead System (09/18/2000)
http://web.archive.org/web/20000918061633/http://www.randymurray.com/

And here is the site as it appeared on August 8, 2002, when you were
running for office:

Elect Randy Murray for Georgia Insurance Commissioner (08/08/2002)
http://web.archive.org/web/20020808203445/http://www.randymurray.com/

I hope this helps. Please let me know if anything I've said is
unclear, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Best wishes,
pinkfreud

PINK, THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENT. YOU ARE THE BEST. HOWEVER, ONE OF
YOUR COWORKERS THINKS I'M GOING TO BUY GOLD COINSWITH A CREDIT CARD
AND NOT PAY THE BILL. I CAN SE E HOW IT MAY APPEAR THAT WAY AND I'M
SORRY IT DOES BUT THE GUY DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY THAT...MAKES ME LOOK LIKE
A CROOK. WHEN THE DAY COMES I HAVE TO RU N OUT ON A 10K CREDIT CARD

Randy,

The comment about the credit card and the gold coins was NOT made by a
Google Answers Researcher. We would never treat a customer so rudely.

You can tell the Researchers from the Peanut Gallery by looking at the
way the person's username is displayed. The username of a Google
Answers Researcher is underlined and highlighted in blue, and it is
"clickable." Clicking a Researcher's username will take you to a list
of all the questions answered by that particular Researcher.

The usernames of visitors who are not Google Answers Researchers are
standard bold text, and are not "clickable."

I am very sorry that someone posted a smart-alecky comment about you.
I'm sure he thought he was being funny, but I doubt that anyone else
finds his remark amusing. Perhaps the fact that you are one of GA's
most frequent customers has caused some envy. It's always the tallest
tree that attracts the lightning.
