I'm interested in buying used copies of The Great Courses produced by
The Teaching Company, Chantilly, VA.  These are heavily advertised in
Science News, for example.  I've searched amazon and ebay and the
on-line book sites.  Almost nothing.  I'd be even more interested in
renting or borrowing them from a library, by mail.  The new price, for
example, of The History of the United States, 2nd Edition,on DVD, is
$200.  I'd be willing to pay about $50.  Just as used books go for
little money, it seems to me that these programs should be on sale
SOMEwhere, or for rent, or to borrow.
