I am planning my first trip to Amsterdam (Netherlands). I make my
living online and can earn money even while on vacation. I found a
few tickets online flying from Saint Louis, MO (USA) to Amsterdam for
$450. I've also found a few hotels that seem reasonably priced
($50-$70 per night).

I was considering getting an open-ended return ticket so I didn't have
to decide before I left when I wanted to return (I would stay 5 days
if I had to pick when, but if I found cheaper accomidations I may want
to stay longer).

I don't have any experience with open ended tickets and haven't found
much info online or anywhere to buy them online. Could anyone point
me in the right direction as to where to look into the price for my
flight? Also any advice you may have if you've ever used an open
ended ticket (problems someone may have, ect).

That's it, just need info on getting an open ended ticket. If you
have any additional advise for someone taking their first trip to
Europe/Amsterdam it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance
for your help.

Hi
Usually open ended tickets are way more money than closed ended.
You should buy a return ticket that allows you to change the return
for a penalty. I would suggest you use a travel agent rather than the
internet
as you will need help to figure out which fares allow for changes.
I have been to Amsterdam and Holland so can help you with any info you may need
Good Luck
