Dear Swifty,

Could you please explain what you mean? Are you referring to the fact
that only 25% precent of the students are out-of-staters in this
particular law-school?

Dear Swifty,

It makes me happy to hear that and changes basically things for better
(see the list bellow), but, keep in mind that the admissions rates
keep changing every year, and that in general, there is a tendency of
lifting the bar higher each year.

The school that is the most similar to UNC Chapel Hill is the
University of Georgia (Athens):
University of Georgia ? School of Law
< http://www.law.uga.edu/>
UNC and UGA are so similar in their statistics that it is almost chilling :-) :
-	same average LSAT and LSAT range of those admitted (162 and 158-164,
correspondently)
-	same average GPA of those admitted (3.60) and
-	same ranking in US World and News Report (31), the two are two of
the best schools in the South-East according both to US News and to
Princeton Review.

Other universities that fit this profile:
1.	University of Minnesota - < http://www.law.umn.edu/> - place
nineteen on US News ranking; Average undergrad GPA: 3.60. Average LSAT
score: 163. LSAT Range (25-75%): 160-165

2.	University of Iowa - < http://www.law.uiowa.edu/> - place 23 on US
News ranking Average undergrad GPA: 3.50Average LSAT score: 160. LSAT
Range (25-75%): 158-164

3.	University of Illinois - < http://www.law.uiuc.edu/> - place 27 on
US News ranking, Average undergrad GPA: 3.40. Average LSAT score: 162.
LSAT Range (25-75%): 159-164.

4.	University of Wisconsin - < http://www.law.wisc.edu/> - place 31 on
US News ranking, Average LSAT: 161. LSAT Range (25-75%): 158-164.
Average Undergrad GPA: 3.40

And if Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois are all too Midwest for you , the
three next universities that have similar conditions:
1.	University of Maryland ? <http://www.law.umaryland.edu/> place 43
on US News, Average undergrad GPA: 3.50. Average LSAT score: 159.
LSAT Range (25-75%): 156-162

2.	University of Pittsburgh ? < http://www.law.pitt.edu/ > place 47 on
US News ranking, Average undergrad GPA: 3.30. Average LSAT score: 159.
LSAT Range (25-75%): 157-162

3.	American University < http://www.wcl.american.edu/ > - place 56 on
US News Average undergrad GPA: 3.40.Average LSAT score: 159. LSAT
Range (25-75%): 158-162.
