You can have a candle on a boat and there is no law against it. |

Obviousally you can have a candle on a boat, unlit, but the question is whether it is safe lit. In conducting a little research, I found that it is alright, as long as the candle is not near the motor. To play it safe, I would say not to have a candle lit while the boat is moving, but most likely it is perfectly safe |
