Are patients being treated for clinical depression and considered
mentally ill covered under the "Americans with Disabilities Act?"
Please give me as much detail as possible, or where I can easily
locate the information without having to read through thousands of
pages of lawyerese.

which says, in essence, that mental illness can be covered by ADA, and
is essentially decided on a case by case basis.

Have a look at this article -- it's not terribly legalistic -- and let
us know what sort of additional information you need to answer your
