Madame Thibaut escaped from France to Belgium ahead of the King and
Queen in late May or early June of 1791, only to return to Marie
Antoinette's side by 1792. Sometime after Aug. 13, 1792, when the
French royal family was taken to the Temple (the former headquarters
of the Knights Templar in Paris), Thibaut and other assistants to the
Queen were forbidden to return:

Where they went, what happened to them is not apparent on the Internet.
In this search strategy I started with the following but had to narrow
it down because it turned up thousands of pages:
Thibaut French revolution
Revised, it was:
Thibaut "French revolution" Antoinette
Google search strategy in French isn't any more useful than in
English, turning up 27 sites that are really off the subject:
Thibaut Révolution francaise site:.fr
Part of the complexity here may be due to variations in the spelling
of the surname Thibaut:

And part of it may be due to the fact that many historic documents
haven't made it to the Internet yet, being only available in a good
French history library. I had high hopes when starting this search
because the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution resulted in
lots of new books being published in France, but alas this is the best
that I could find.
