No, not SIM as in ?Subscriber Identification Module? but SIM as in
?Servizio Informazioni Militari?, which was run for a time by Cesare
Anè.

I am interested in the Thirties & Forties.

I have seen stuff in English-language books like Ciano?s Diary & Bio
but is there anything else out there that might be interesting?

If so, please say ?Si? and we can start talking.

Ciao!

Hi, Freddy

Very many thanks for the Links.

As usual, they are great and YES it should have been Cesare Amè, not Anè.

But what a funny namè, it sounds rather inanè.

All the best

Bryan, you may find some of these books interesting:

Hi, Again, Freddy

Many thanks for the further great links ...

Unfortunately, my Italian is not good enough to encourage me to delve
into the books listed.

This was why I was hoping that there might have been an Italian
researcher but no head has popped up so far.

I will let the question run a bit longer but if no one appears then I
shall stop eating pasta for a month.

Hey, I might also shed a few pounds, as well.

All the Best

Bryan
