Question ID: 426097
I want to find out approximately how many people, participate in rock
climbing as opposed to an olympic sport like pole vaulting, javelin
throw, or even more obscure sports like team handball or curling or
rhythmic gymnastics.

It is for an elementary school essay, so the results do not have to be very precise.

I can provide you with the number of participants in rock climbing and
team handball.

Would this information be of your interest?

Thanks,

Thanks. Yes, results on rock climbing, team handball, and curling
would be useful.

Please make it clear if the results are U.S. or world-wide.

Also, if you could find pole vaulting, that would be good too.

Thanks.

The data I located for rock climbing, team handball, and curling
participants is for the United States.

Unfortunately I was not able to the number of pole vaulting participants.

I would suggest that we leave this question open and perhaps another
researcher may find the number of pole vaulting participants in the
U.S.

If after a few days you do not receive an answer, just let me know and
I will then post my findings.

Sincerely,
Bobbie7

Bobbie7,

Thanks for replies. I'm new to this service/system. I would say go
ahead and post your answers now. Does that mean that no one else
would post answers if they find them? Does it 'close the request'?

If you can't answer/explain, I'll figure it out through Google, but go
ahead and post them. I'd like to have results.

Thanks again.
