apartments in Manhattan.  The first is called "Sublet in the City" at

Click on the above link, and in middle of the page there's a sectioned
map of Manhattan.  You can click on more than one area to include the
regions of Manhattan you want to look in.  To the right of that are
various parameters you can set for your search.  You'll want to choose
your price range (from hundreds to thousands) with a weekly or daily
frequency, furnished status, number of rooms, move-in day, and
anything else you deem appropriate.  Then click "start search" and
you'll see dozens of apartments available, many with photos, which you
can further click on to see more information.
