Besides Yahoo! and Hoovers - is there a good source for finding a narrative description of any business organization. i.e., typing in the name of the business and getting back results that would explain what type of business operations they do, where they are located, and goal or direction of company(not just financial information) | |

You know, if you search for them on HotJobs.com or Monster.Com most companies have input a business profile or link that describes what industry they are in and size of company etc. I, personally won't pay for Hoover's, but you can find out alot about companies by the various recruiting websites that they use. If you are looking for large company info, there is another recruiting site called, "employerdirect.com", it's used somewhat as an internal job board for alot of companies and provides alot of useful info. All of the above infomation is FREE!!! |
