What is the warranty level on buying used cisco from resellers;

First off, I can find very little about Ricom- I would be cautious
purchasing from someone witch such a small online presence.  They
state they have been in business since 1997, but their store was
registered in late 2003.

As for their warranty:
Ricom, states that they only warrenty goods for 30 days, but each
product on their site lists what the manufacturer or other warranty
is.

You have to look at the specific item you want to see the warranty they offer.

I would like to start by covering the question.  Warranty levels vary,
depending on what reseller you are dealing with.  Resellers normally
warranty product for a minimum of 30 days with many items carrying a
pass through manufacturer warranty.

Now, let's address some of vballguy's comments-

1)  RICOM's first internet domain registration was in 1998, shortly
after opening business.

2)  RICOM does not currently post products on shopping.com sites. 
(Epinions is owned by shopping.com)

3)  Google does not show a number of links to RICOM from large
technology companies such as Emulex.  They are listed as the sole
reseller of end of life products on Emulex.com

4)  There are numerous links from google to RICOM's product pages and
the company's listings are always in the top of their search result. 
(first page in many cases)

5)  RICOM offers the customer 30 days to cover returns or reverse
logistics for DOA products.  It's called value add.  Many of the
company's products carry a manufacturer's warranty which is advertised
on every product page.

Get some business references from RICOM before making any judgements
from vballguy's comments.  They are authorized business partners with
IBM, CISCO, HP, DELL, etc...
