How do I determine who is the best, legitimate geneologist who uses all modern resources, such as the web, to do legitimate geneological work? I want to trace a name back into England into the 1600s and before, and I have some good starter material. | |

Kilboj -- There are several excellent Google Answers researchers who do thorough work on genealogy questions, including Herr Scriptor. However, be aware that the BEST resources are not on the Internet -- they're often on microfilm or old printed resources, including such things as church records. As a result, your best choices for a genealogy researcher MAY be someone who's in the location you're seeking the information. Like Scriptor, I'd suggest that you give it a try with researchers here. Genealogy research can be very time-consuming, making it expensive. Which is why so many people handle it themselves . . . Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |
