Besides Ken Jennings (Jeopardy), what were the previous top winners on
game shows (U.S. or international) and what would their winnings be
worth today if adjusted for inflation, etc.? They don't have to be
the "top three" or anything... three of the top ten is fine, provided
one of them is now in 2nd place (i.e. USED to be the big winner)

Hi Bobbie7 - jhabley here... this site has a terrible bug and it's
associated TWO usernames to my one account. And they don't answer my
emails to fix it.

<sigh>

This is close, but I'm looking for a list of dollar-corrected winners.
i.e. Did someone in 1950 win $400,000? That might not appear on a list
of top winners, unless one considered that that $400,000 is probably
worth $1.5 million today when corrected for inflation, etc.

Or do these winners you've posted actually do reflect much higher
winnings than the old-time games, despite dollar corrections?

I'm not sure. I'll do some more research and if I find anything I'll let you know.

Perhaps if you log out,reboot your computer and then try again?
