I want to build a list of the top 15-20 resources on several topics.
I have compiled a list of many resources myself but I'm suffering from
a bit of information overload and want to get a fresh perspective on
things :-)
The sites for each topic should be high quality and updated on a
regular basis. By high quality I mean not full of junk links and
affiliate url's. I have no problem if a site contains affiliate links
but not excessive to the point of affecting quality and usefulneess of
content.
Resources can include topic specific forums, blogs, news and content sites.
The topics are:
1. Adwords Marketing Tips and Strategies
2. Search Engine Optimization News & Strategies
3. Affiliate Marketing News & Strategies
4. RSS News and Advertising & marketing strateiges for RSS.
5. Adsense and Contextual Advertising News and Strategies.
6. Copywriting Tips and Strategies
I look forward to seeing what you uncover! |

This sounds like an interesting question; however, that is quite a few
sites per category -- up to 100-120 sites that would have to be
manually assessed. Would you be able to increase your question price
or decrease your requirements at all?

Hello, it is quite an undertaking and wasn't sure about the price when I posted.
I'm not really sure if that many good sites exist for each topic but I
want to be thorough. How about the top 10 for starters and if you
believe you can find more per the original question I will be more
than willing to up the price.
Let me know how this sounds. Thanks for your interest in the question!

Sounds good. What are we using for a criteria (i.e., what is meant by
"best")? Are fee-based sites like this OK to include:

Best is a a broad criteria :-)
Essentially what I am looking for are sites that are focused on the
topics I listed in the original question that are updated consistently
(at least once a week) Forums would be an obvious choice but I would
like news and content sites to considered first if at all possible.
As for fee-based sites, I would like it to be kept to publicly
available information.
examples of what I would consider good sites are
http://www.searchenginejournal.com
http://www.imediaconnection.com
Both are updated constantly and provide good quality content.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the clarification.
I'm running into a bit of a snag with a category like:
"Adwords Marketing Tips and Strategies"
This kind of topic is generally static in nature due to its
specificity. You'll find (good) sites with a few articles on the
topic, but it's not the kind of thing that's updated a lot, because
there's really nothing "new" to say about it on an ongoing basis.
Examples:
http://www.weboptimiser.com/search_engine_marketing_news/adwords.html
http://www.ugfc.org/adwords/index.html
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=338887
Are you able to bend at all on the "updated constantly" criterion?

This first two sites would be ok but I would prefer not to include
specific forum threads.

Just so I officially know -- before continuing on with the research:
it is OK for the sites to not be updated "constantly" as defined as
"once per week?" The first two sites of the three are updated once
per every month every few months.
Thanks,
