I am looking for a list of businesses or individuals who hold real
estate or business promissory notes.  Generally such notes are secured
by some type of property.

Are you interested in world wide or a particular local. In the USA
such promisory notes are typically called mortgages, but there are
some other ways to go. Did you wish to exclude anything that might be
called a mortgage in the USA? The list could be millions of persons,
if it includes persons who hold only one and have no interest in
adding another or selling their note for less than 95% of it's yield
to maturity. Telling us what you plan to do with the list may be

I am interested in the U.S. only and I am looking to purchase or
broker such notes.  I am less interested in first mortgages held by
big institutions.  I am not looking to buy a big portfolio.  More
interested in seller financed properties in which the seller has
carried a note to help finance the transaction.  Also, Business notes
secured by equipment, vehicles or real property.  If this information
is tied to recordation of the security agreement that may be a source
of info.  Hope this helps.
