question because there?s no way to provide you with a definitive
number of wars around the globe at any given time. You see, the word
?War? is a relative term. For example, a country?s native people or a
certain religious sect (regional or even global) may consider
themselves at perpetual ?war? over their persecution which dates back
into unrecorded history, while the rest of the world may not view that
particular conflict with the same significance. On the other hand, it
is difficult, if not impossible in some cases, to be able to determine
if/when some conflicts begin or end.

in progress. Some of them are actually armed battles while a few of
them may be more ideological in nature with sporadic isolated or even
international bouts of violence and insurrection.
