I have owned a Compaq Presario 2100 for 8 months. The Broadcom WiFi
Card built in to the system usually inexplicably takes 15 to 45
minutes to "find" my home WiFi network (NetGear MR814) and other
networks (i.e. Panera Bread Co.). Why is this? I have updated all
drivers and still the wait. Compaq tried to tackle the problem and
Broadcom is no help whatsoever. Same with tech forums. Two other
computers on my home network instantly connect every time. What is my
problem?
