I need a ventless dryer that is powered by electricty. I can get a discount on GE, so that would be preferable. I need a washer as well, so if there was a matching set, that would be better. It is only for 2 people and a baby (their clothes, that is), so it doesn't need to be huge. I'd like to find something that has been rated highly by professional testers, or by many consumers. |

A clothes dryer needs to do something with the water it removes from the clothing. Condencing it back to a liquid takes considerable energy and/or adds greatly to the size of the clothes dryer. Then you need to do something with the liquid water. Any dryer can be vented into the room, but it raises the room humidity excessively if lots of clothes are dried. Neil |
