My wife and I are US citizens who have been living for 3 months in
England. In our time here we have made many contracts/accounts (work,
bank, credit cards, letting lease, phone, etc). We are unexpectantly
leaving to move permanantly back in the states (death in the family).
Our question is: What are the consequences of us breaking with our UK
commitments? Will this UK delinquency have any impact on our US
credit when we are back in the states?
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

I am sorry for your loss. Perhaps you should consider not just your
credit record, but also ethics and what is right. Besides, what if
you want to go back?
