I'm looking for a children's book that I read as a kid. However, I can only remember vague details about the book (really, just one part of it, and the details aren't very precise). The book features a village ridding themselves of flies (or wasps or other bugs) by making a giant piece of dough (or bread or other pastry-type substance) with jelly or something sweet like that. I believe the bugs were attracted to the sweetness and then got stuck in the dough. Name, Author and ISBN number would be perfect. Thanks! |
