I am trying to find out what the best cell phone plan would be for me
in Phoenix, Arizona. I am currently with Sprint but the plan I have is
way over-priced. That plan has 1400 anytime minutes with long
distance, I also pay for PCS to PCS (cell phone to cell phone). If I
could get my wife to use her cell phone when calling me instead of the
house phone I could probably knock my anytime minutes down to 300
minutes. My best friend is on Alltel, so if I was on their network I
could talk to him anytime.

I have a pair of Nokia 3588i's, I would like new cell phones but there
are too many choices for me to make a reasonable decision. I want
something with big letters, bright screen that can be seen in broad
daylight (here in Arizona there is plenty of daylight). My current
phone, when not in use displays the time nice and big, but when you
are taling to someone it shoves the time up in the top right corner
and it is tough for me to see it.

I was sort of thinking of a Palm Pilot (I have heard the term
"Blackberries" but have not looked at them. I know I could stand to
have a Personal Data Assitant to keep me in check but I really don't
know anything about either of these.

There are so many plans out there that are offering multiple phones
with your service, I would think they all allow you to talk to each
other without using your minutes (that's probably assuming way too
much?)

I know many of the phones require multiple year commitments to get the
phones for free or at least discounted a bunch (but after over-paying
Sprint for two plus years (Plus all the time I was with them for the
previous 5or 6 years before this), I would be willing to pay for the
phones without the commitment.

Our home phone is on Qwest, maybe they offer a package for home phone
plus free minutes to and from the cell phone? We use a separate long
distance provider for 3.9 cents out of state long distance (she's fond
of calling back east darn near daily). It seem I seen a PACKAGE deal
from Qwest but they want everything, even the internet (that's COX,
the wife and me too don't think dialup would be much fun after having
cable).

I know this probably should be divided into half a dozen different
questions and should garner a much higher price for answering but I am
hoping this is a "no brainer" for one of you GOOGLE ENLIGHTENED
infividuals.
