There are television commercials currently running in the US that
describe national grant conferences. These commericals describe how
their free national grant conferences and the free books you get give
information about how people can apply for national grants, subsities,
and loans such as those for purchasing a first home or starting a
business. I assume that the people responsible for these commercials
are somehow getting money from it despite the fact that they seem to
offer everything for free. I would like to know free sources of
information on the internet about these national grants.

Clarification: Can you give me information about national grants that
are availiable or point me in the direction for where I could find
this information freely on the internet? I am particularly interested
in those dealing with the purchase of a new home. The commercials
mention grants that are available to help for the downpayment of a
home. I am especially interested in this and more specifically in
details such as would these grants include purchasing a cooperative
apartment?

A good answer would include information about these national grants,
links to free information about these grants, links to download forms,
etc.
