In the song "Let Yourself Go", from Follow The Fleet, specifically the
second verse when Ginger is joined by three backup singers, her voice
appears to be stronger and deeper than her solo. Is she dubbed? It
has been rumored she was also dubbed for "The Yam", in the movie
Carefree. Was Ginger's voice dubbed for parts or for all of these
tunes? In her autobiography, Ginger says she was only dubbed for her
first film and then never after that. It is known that Mark Sandrich
did not think much of Ginger's voice and told her so. He directed both
movies.
