Where can I find numbers on the percentages of their GDP that each of
the G8 countries have historically spent on their militaries and on
healthcare (a year-by-year analysis going back to at least pre-WW2)?

Sorry, I meant G7 Countries, not G8. And to be more specific, the
percent of their GDP spent on military expenditures since, say, 1935
or so.
