The popularity of various team sports rises and falls with spectacular
outcomes such as the MLB home run sensations of 2001-2003 or the NBA
with a popular dynasty or women's soccer with the win over China.

It is hard to measure the impact of NASCAR or pro wrestling which are
more recent phenomenon.
