Hi, thank you for turning to Google Answers for assistance.
Sites which don?t have frequent updates, which applies to most or all
of the ones you asked about, are not actively seeking advertisers,
especially when they provide no contact information on the site. The
only way to get onto those sites is to show up in the search engines
they rely on for their listings.
These sites are very easy and inexpensive to set up and may be acting
mostly as placeholders or are simply inexpensive advertising for and
owned indirectly by the few companies which feature prominently in the
site listings.
That said, I have tracked down contact information for most of the
sites and have located the search engine most used by several of the
sites. I explain below why this is helpful.
Although there is no guarantee that these sites will agree to list
you, if there is no positive response from the contacts then your only
other option is to try and show up in the search engines they utilize.

The administrative contact for nontop.com is
sylviocate@yahoo.com
Harriet Diva,
177 Burg St

Since there is no information on the site about how you would go about
adding a listing, your only recourse would be a polite query to the
contact.
This appears to be a new site with the first archived page being
February 12, 2005. Since the original content appears to be
substantially the same as it is today, I suspect this site isn?t open
to new listings.

freesearch.co.uk has a contact page where you can direct your
questions about the site:
http://www.freesearch.co.uk/contact.php
If they don?t respond then they probably aren?t interested in
accepting direct submission of listings but you can go further - the
worst that can happen is that they still won't respond.
Although they don?t provide such information, I suspect that you are
more likely to be browsed and selected by their bot if you have a .UK
address.
Archives of freesearch.co.uk have been blocked so Archive.org doesn?t
have any versions of the site stored.
The site is owned by Shopping.net Ltd, a UK Limited Company, (Company

Shopping.net accepts paid advertising on a yearly basis for 250

You should contact them directly to see if that will also put you on
their freesearch.co.uk site.

www.fasteasysearch.com has contact information posted on the site:
admin@fasteasysearch.com
The first archived page for this site (May 18,2004)
http://web.archive.org/web/20040518044148/http://fasteasysearch.com/
appears identical to the current page and there have only been three
changes posted to the site (June 16,2004, June 18,2004, and Sep
23.2004) since the first archive, therefore I suspect the site owners
aren?t interested in adding new listings directly to their site.
The DNS server for this site refuses whois contacts so I don?t have
any more information about them.
However, many of the listings appear to come from www.directorize.com
and they welcome link exchange.
Their contact information is: director@directorize.com
If you get a listing there then you are likely to show up in searches
on www.fasteasysearch.com
Find-it-easy.org
This site also relies heavily on www.directorize.com and is very
similar to fasteasysearch.com so it is probably owned or at least
designed by the same people.

For what it is worth, here is the owner listing for this site:

I also traced the IP addresses for all these sites to their hosting
services but they are all different so there doesn?t appear to be any
direct connection between the sites.

I hope this information proved helpful ? I was able to locate several
solid contact points for some of these sites.
You should definitely contact director@directorize.com since that is
the source of many of the search hits on several of the sites. Getting
listed with www.directorize.com would be one way to get into those
sites? searches.
Also, shopping.net is a good contact since they own one of the sites
and accept paid advertising.
Good luck. |
