The value of the Toronto Stock Exchange is expressed as the value of the S&P/TSX Composite Index. It's amazing how many financial Web sites do not provide quotes for this company. It's even more amazing the hoops TSX requires visitors to jump through for the information. In any case, here is your information. The index closed at 8220.89 in 2003: (http://tsx.com/en/tradingServices/docs/5955TSXMonthlyTradingSummary.pdf) The index closed at 6614.54 in 2002: (had to call the company for this) The price change for the year was 24.29%.
