I am having trouble using activesync 3.8 woth Toshiba Pocket PC 310e.
I've tried activesync 3.8 & latest version. I have used 3.8 before
with success.

The problem is that activesy nc does not recogonise the pocket PC.
Windows seems to notice it since it say that it found new hardware and
says the correct device ..pocket PC. However, the activesync says it
does not hace a connection. I'm wondering if a set the pocket PC for
infrared transfer or something. I do not know.

Need help. Can't get it the activesync to connect? Any other
software from Toshiba or something? Thanks.

Activesync 4.1 still cannot find the Pocket PC when I try to connect.
Windows XP has the Pocket PC listed as a device on my Gateway notebook
PC & when I tried to update the driver, it said I had the most recent
one.

I have looked up suggestions on Microsoft site, but still no luck. I
turned off firewalls, as suggested but it didn't work. Still thinking
this is most likely problem but not sure how to be sure all firewalls
are off. I turned off ZoneAlarm & MCAffe & Window XP (I think I have
too many!).

I'll add $5 if the suggestion works. Thinking that this should not be
that difficult.

an answer. I would pay extra tip (double price) if suggestion solved
the problem.
