HELLO I HAVE A 350 CHEVY WITH HEI  THE MODULE KEEPS BURNING OUT FOR
SOME REASON WITH CAR OFF AND ING LOCKED KEY OUT ANY HELP OUT THERE

It could be that when you turn the ignition off, the voltage regulator
(or battery) is isolated before the alternator (generator?) output
falls. You might then be getting a short duration surge of up to 60
volts. If this is the case, the cause could be faulty or non-standard
wiring -- or bad design. Are you in the habit of turning the ignition
off at high revs, like blipping the throttle to clean things out as
you switch off. This link was interesting :-
