I am looking for information about possible metal mould (mold)
release agents to release lipsticks or decorative cosmetic products
from metal/silicone moulds. They should be approved by FDA / EU;
waterbased-products are not of interest. Examples: Dimethicone,
Carnauba Wax, Magnesium Stearate... I am looking mainly for sprayable
liquids (hydrocarbons, esters, fluorinated compound, silicone
derivatives...). Links,
overviews... are wellcome.

jojaeger-ga: Try soya lecithin, in a suitable dispersing medium. It
is a food component, therefore has no health hazard. I have had
considerable experience with it...it is an excellent release agent.
The U.S. product Pam, a sprayable release agent used in cooking
contains it.
