I need a way to monitor the internet activity going through my Linksys
router at home for my kids. My computer is connected directly to the
router through both ethernet and wireless. I want to be able to
monitor all traffic coming through it, including AIM Instant Messages,
emails, and websites visited. What software is there available FOR
MAC COMPUTERS to do this?

You don't say what Operating System you have, and there
are different ways to do what you're suggesting. One is
a keystroke logger which will keep a record of all the
activity on your computer, such as 'Spector for Mac 3.00':

Another is a network sniffer such as dSniff Control:

"dSniff Control is a front end for the open source
 command line utility suite."

From the extensive feature list, it allows you to:

"- Capture e-mail, ftp, telnet and other plain text
   passwords transmitted across many protocols
 - Capture instant messages
 - Capture websites visited by users on your network"

Much more on the page:

dSniff Control is for OSX.

Let me know if this suits your needs, so I can post it
as a formal answer, or please clarify your interests.
