In January 2006, I received a year-end bonus which is taxed at 41%. Instead of
accepting this, if I ask my company to rewrite a check and put the
amount directly into a retirement
account (specifically, a 403 B), will I avoid this 40% tax? (since a
403 B is a tax deferred annuity)? I can't find an answer to this
anywhere.
