I live in California and moved into a condo. I discovered a triple
gang switch box, two swithes and one GFCI oullet, in my kitchen. One
switch is connected to a different circuit/breaker than the other
switch and outlet. Is this arrangment within code?

The triple gang switch box (wall switch box with space for three
switches, outlet or combination thereof). I have two switches and one
GFCI outlet [not "oullet" as I mis-spelled it].
