I have some questions about linear algebra. If anyone wants to help
me, please write it on the board and I will make sure to upload my
word format document with everything explained to my ftp in order for
you to be able to give it a look. I can also post it on the board, if
you feel more comfortable, just request me that to do it, but I would

Answer true or false. Justify the answer by providing a counterexample
if the statement is false or an outline of a proof if the statement is
true.
1. A consisten (3 x 2) linear system of equation can never have a unique solution.

Let's think this through. In a 3x2 linear system of equations, how
many equations are there? How many unknowns? If the system is
consistent (meaning it has _at least_ one solution), will it be
possible for the solution to be unique?

Sorry for the delay, but I already turn in the questions with the
answers. Although, I think there might be some corrections required in
order to have them right. I will upload the questions and the probably
answers to each specific question to the ftp. It's fine with that you
just post the necessary corrections for each one.
This is the link ftp://ftp.members.lycos.co.uk/ to the ftp just click
in there or put it in your browser. After that you will have to press
the refresh button and then it will prompt a windows asking you about
the sitename and password.
