I have a website for providing information about hepatitis and liver
diseases (www.hepatitis.cl, yes, in Spanish). I developed it by myself
with Frontpage 2003, and I feel comfortable with this software. I want
to add a forum to the site, but the Frontpage tool is very basic and
dificult to customize. I tried phpBB, but I couldn't set it up
correctly (I probably need more time to play with the settings), and
specifically I couldn't make it work with Frontpage (they may not be
compatible). I need advice on what service should I use to set up a
forum, ideally working with Frontpage. Is there anybody who can set it
up for a small fee? (My website is not for profit...)

I cannot understand why you are interested in compatibility between
the main website and the forums; usually, you link to the forum, and
the forum links back to the site, unless you want a common database
for users / profiles etc. but still, that only has to do with the
database, not the actual website code...

Nonetheless, you can use the tutorials of phpBB from this link:
http://www.phpbb.com/support/tutorials/

they are comprehensive flash movies covering all stages of deployment
and customization.

Shoud you need more help, please inform me.

Thank you for your comment. I am not really very interested in
compatibility. What I need is some way to make the forum look like my
web site, and under the same domain name. Since I use Frontpage, I
would like this to still work after the installation of the forum.
I need a very simple forum, I am not interested in databases of users,
but the questions and answers should stay even if I move from one
hosting company to another. I intend to make the forum open without
need to registration. The forum will have some sections (mainly one
section for each category of liver disease) and it should be possible
to include adsense advertising, that help me to cover hosting
expenses.
I donīt have all the time and patience to install it, so I would
prefer someone that could set up the forum (for a small fee), so I
could maintain it afterwards.
By the way, my hosting company is re-invent.com, that supports mySQL.

I don't understand why can't you use FrontPage itself for developing a
Discussion Forum. It is very simple and highly customizable (I don't
understand why do you say that it is not customizable). Moreover, you
can use this tool to make a decent discussion forum. Create a separate
website in FrontPage using the Discussion Forum template and then
customize it. If you want to add some adsense advertising, it is
possible here too. You can use the header or footer files located in
the _border directory (which is normally hidden).

If you wish, I can develop it for you in FrontPage for a small
reasonable fee, but I don't understand Spanish. Contact at
padpub@yahoo.com.

If you want to make it look like the rest of your website, then you
need a great Template and Theme editor.

The best forum I know for this is MyBB (www.mybboard.com).
The Theming (in CSS) is simplified for non programmers, and the
Template Manager is split up into countless categories, making it very
very easy to change the layout.

All you would have to do is configure the templates to include your
website template, keeping the php variables in so that the forum would
work.
