I am searching for the name and paintings of a chinese artist that
exhibited his paintings in Macau during 1997-1998.
He has also exhibited in the USA during 1998-2000

He is most known for his paintings of individuals within natural
surroundings of countrylife.

One of the paintings that I am looking for(among others) is of a girl
sitting at a seat next to a window, wearing looking forlornly out of
the window. The picture is set withing the confines of her home.

Other paintings done by this artist feature subjects outside wearing
sheepskin coats(chinese peasant style, roughly sewn) outise in the
snow among boulders.
He has also done another, featuring a woman wearing a red dress.
The overall image always portrays a feeling of inner peace and
tranquility, no matter what the enviroment or lifestyle the subjects
are in.

The work shows people in very natural enviroments, the facial details
are superb in their depth and ability to portray deep emotion

I am not looking for paintings that contain very modern imagery(tv,
cars etc)nor am i looking for work done pre 1950.
