I have a three piece tea set with a mark on the base of C E N. The mark is like a three leaf clover with the C being in the upper left lobe, the E being on the right lobe and the N being in the lower lobe. I'm wondering if it is English and might be coin silver.The number 1080 appears below the manufactuer's mark. |

I suspect that it stands for 'Cupro Nickel Silver' or some such. In other words silver plate |

Or rather 'Cupro Electro Nickel'. |
