I just switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox 1.0. I was using the IE integrated firewal ... does Firefox include a firewall, or do I need to add a second party program? If so, which is the best for use with Firefox. |

IE is a browser application, like FireFox. What you are talking about is Windows integnal Firewall. But this is part of the OS, not the browser. Therefore you can continue to use it (even with Firefox), but I would recommend to use more advanced firewall software.. One of my favourites is Norton suite 2005, which includes antivirus and firewall and other things... or you can even use "free freeware" which works good for me... http://www.free-firewall.org/ |
