Hello,

I'm guessing that I just can't get the right set of keywords to get a valid result.

I've just had a wall build around my garden, which features 5 pillars.
However, I've had no luck in finding a local company to provide me
with the caps for these pillars, so I thought it would be easy enough
to find a UK company which I can purchase some and get them delivered.

What I'm looking for is 4 15inch pillar/pier cap and 1 9inch pillar
cap. Ideally, I would prefer these to be made our of blue/purple or
even green slate. Unless it's a local company (which I think is
unlikely), I would need them delivered by courier. If I can't get
slate ones, then any decent caps will do. I'm not looking for ornate
caps, plain and basic is fine, as long as they don't look cheap and
tacky.

I'm not sure if this is really the sort of question that I can ask
here, but having no luck finding anything myself I'm hoping you might
be able to offer some help sorting out the search.

Thanks;
Richard Moss

There might be building/garden suppliers for such things
However I've seen no evidence of it in the UK

Have you checked out your local stone masons ?
Also it might be worth sniffing around tomb stone suppliers
'Monumental Masons' in Yellow Pages speak.

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion. As it turns out, there isn't anything
local, but I did locate a supplier in Cumbria using Yellow Pages and
should have them custom made for me in a week or so.

Thanks again;
Richard Moss
