Here are the Patent filing fees for the US and International applications.

US ? You can find the different application fees according to the
different types of patents.

WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) meanwhile is the place
to go to get International Patents. Here are the fees for application
of an international patent.

Transmittal Fee - $300
International filing fee - $1,134
Fee Per Sheet Over 30 - $12
PCT Easy reduction - $81
Search Fees - $1,000
Preliminary examination fees - $600

Additional fees and corresponding deductions depend on certain cases.

Just thought I'd add that while working for an intellectual property
division of a major U.S. University, we estimated that the COST of
securing a property was about $10,000 per patent, including the fees
mentioned above.  This included fees to patent lawyers to create
patents that were difficult to challenge, and usually two rounds with
the patent office.
