How can I stop my computer from crashing?
My computer crashes when I access files on my Zio smart media card.

Smart media is a "flash memory" 64MB card. The Zio reader is a
microtechint.com USB adapter.

Computer = Compaq presario 1500 with windows XP.
In the past, I was able to read and write files to the Zio without crashing.

I have installed XP service pack 2.

Crash message says "physical memory dump"
"Disable bios options such as shadowing and cache."

I would download the latest drivers for the Zio @
http://www.ziocorp.com/support/downloads.html

If that does not work after installing them you might want to
reconsider backing up your files and doing a reinstall of XP. Let me
know how it goes.
