If I have a rar file split into 20 parts, can I know the filename of all the 20 parts by taking a look at the .rar file? |

No, you can know just the names of files in which are compressed and stored in that part of .rar (or .r0) and not all the files. The compressing in rar is done letter by letter. It's unnecessary to use RAR or ARJ for splitting alone since just binary splitting the files will work fine, and they can be reassemblied with cat or copy [source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rar] |
