I currently run a small business with a 24 hour call centre (only one
operator). I also use vonage VOIP to manage a number of virtual lines.
I am interested in affordable software that would be compatable with
Vonage to help me manage the calles ie what line are they coming in
on, caller ID and call tracking.

My Question:

Please give detail around moderately priced software or equipment that
would be compatable with Vonage and would enable me to run my business
more efficiently. We receive calls and send independent contractors on
appointments in various cities. I am interested in tracking who called
what number and who we gave the call to in an automated way (versus
the spreadsheet I use now). Ideally this would tie in with Vonage.
Feel free to ask clarifying questions if required. The preferred
software would need to be relatively affordable for a home based
business ie less than $1,000.

You may consider looking into a voicewing/iobi combination from
Verizon. Voicewing is their VOIP service and iobi is an up and coming
software from them used to manage calls that is fully compatible with
Voicewing. Just something to look into.
