I need to discover which mobile alert service is sending me text
messages. It is probably one of the big names like Yahoo, Microsoft,
Verizon, or ESPN. The sender comes through as 67680000000 or
676800000000, I don't remember how many zeros exactly. They are
alerts for the NJ Nets, every time a game starts or ends. Could you
figure out which service sends alerts from the 6768 number?

I get Balto. Raven's scores from the same number. I think it was
something I opted for through Verizon Wireless. But it was months ago,
and I can't seem to unsubscribe. I think they changed the layout so
they could keep charging people for these text messages.

ANSWER: try the following link: http://vzw.msn.com

This is a Verizon Wireless/MSN joint website where you can sign up for
text Alerts. Just sign in with your cell number and password. Then
select "Alerts", track down the appropriate category, and make changes
if desired. Hope this helps.
