I need market information for the Regional Trucking Industry for
Truckload movement of high value goods. Let me define what I mean:
Regional Trucking Company - Companies who ship goods in a 700 miles
radius of where they are located; So anywhere from .1-700 miles
Truck Load- The truck is full of goods from one shipper as opposed to
going to multiple locations/companies to get a full load.
High value goods- Mainly consumer products as opposed to raw
materials. Assume we are talking about materials that are NOT
hazerdous material.
I am interested in information about companies in major cities in
Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Kansas, and
New Mexico. The specific information I need includes:
1. Pricing structure- Avg cost per mile/per pound
2. Estimated number of establishments in these locations who offer
regional trucking
3. Number of people employed in these locations
4. Total annual sales by state for these locations
5. Average employees at these companies by location
6. Average sales per company by location
Note: There are local, regional, and long distance trucking companies. I am
only interested in information on regional companies. |
